I try to balance talent and culture. I love my work because it enables me to get to know companies from the inside, to know people as they are, and to help them to meet professionally for their mutual development and success. I specialise in family businesses and the industrial sector.

I have been committed to everything that has happened in my life, is worthwhile, and enables me to give back everything that it has given to me. That is why I am a member of the Management Committees of ESADE Alumni, the Family Business Club and the Col·legi d’Enginyers de Catalunya, and a trustee of the Fundació Cuina Justa. I chair the Consell de Formació i Ocupació del Col·legi d’Enginyers de Catalunya.

Initially trained in Business Administration and then specialising in Finance, a few years after completing my studies I discovered my passion for finding talent and helping it to grow.

I worked first as an export manager with people from other cultures, and then, in a second stage, as a strategic brand manager in one of the principal multinationals in the sector. In that communication group, I performed various duties before becoming Training and HR Director, forming part of the international network ‘Training Leaders & HR’, where I was their top manager in Spain.

On 1st March, 2010, I joined the Talman Group in Barcelona, as a partner/consultant specialising in the search for executives in communication and marketing and also in training, coaching and leadership consultancy.

I studied Psychology and have a Master’s degree in The Psychology of Organisations, from recognized universities. I have always known that my main interest is in psychology applied to companies, and in being able to understand their changes, their organisation charts, their shortcomings and their styles.

I regard myself as a strategic partner who helps them to recruit executive talent which closely matches their cultures. I have more than 16 years of experience, with proven successes in executive search and middle management, inserting strategic personnel into companies. I have worked with companies of different sizes, and in different sectors. Strongly client-orientated, I easily understand clients’ needs.

I love meeting the various people whom I interview and being able to understand their movements and explain them to my clients.

JOSEP PARERA

Partner and General Commercial Manager of Top Cable, a family business manufacturing medium- and low-voltage electric cables.

After training as an industrial electrical engineer, he devoted his whole professional career to the general commercial management of his own company, which, together with his three brothers, he founded 35 years ago. Currently, he is also on Top Cable’s board of directors, and is a partner and consultant of the Talman Group.

RAMON LLAGOSTERA

An industrial engineer (UPC), MBA (ESADE)

He is currently a shareholder and advisor of companies in the food sector: Celler Mas Doix, Patatas Fritas Torres and Speed & Efficiency and previously of Guzman Gastronomía. He works in the financial area at Laboratorios Almirall, Grupo Pepsico and the Schlumberger Group, and is General Manager of Bodegas Sumarroca. He is a partner and advisor of the Talman Group.

RAMON SAGARRA

An industrial engineer (UPC) and MBA (ESADE), who also holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Automation and Robotics (UPC).

An expert in public services networks and in energy. A specialist in telecommunications, electricity and control. The founder of the companies EACOM, MODI, NEXGENET, NEARBYSENSORS and NEARBYCOMPUTING. He was formerly Director of Technology at the engineering multinational ESTEYCO, Director of Infrastructures for 22@Barcelona,S.A., Director of Construction at ONO and a regular consultant for the Barcelona Council. He is also a partner and advisor of the Talman Group.

ANTONI CROUS

A chemical engineer with an MBA from ESADE. Academic Director of programmes for B2B companies at ESADE. A specialist in industrial marketing.

He has had management responsibilities in important, family businesses in the industrial sector. He was formerly General Manager of Uniland Cementera and Business Manager at Cementos Portland Valderrivas, La Seda de Barcelona and Plastivert. He was the founder of Quaternia. He is currently a director of Lafarga Lacambra, Encofrados Alsina and Talleres Felipe Verdés, and Chairman and General Manager of the Centre for Capillary Technology.

JOSEP MARIA JOANA

A graduate in Physical Sciences, PDD from the IESE and SEP from ESADE.

A director of Giró Packaging and of Barcelonesa de Productos Químicos, and Assistant to the CEO of González Byass. He was previously a partner of PWC, Vice-Chairman and General Manager of the consultancy division of IBM, and an academic assistant at ESADE.
